Sweet time with friends!!!

Again and again, over and over, God keeps blessing us time and time again.  We finally made it to Springfield, Oregon for a visit that we planned over a year ago.  We planned on stopping to visit our precious friends from back home, the Paskey's, at their second home in Springfield when we passed through on our way up to Alaska.  Let me just say WOW what a difference a year can make.  Springfield was no longer their second home but now, their full time home.  See, God knew all along...they would definitely BE THERE when we came through.

As my last post stated, only 60 miles in and I knew  I loved Oregon and I didn't change my mind as we continued on.  I shared with Momma, I think I love it so because it reminds me of Maine.  If you have never been to Oregon...Come on out...it is well worth it!!!  Beautiful state!!!!

So, we arrived in Springfield and made it to our wonderful campground, Armatage County Park (thanks for the referral Jenny).  One of the best campgrounds we have had the pleasure to stay at.  So two thumbs up Armatage!!!!  We arrived the day after the Paskey's returned home from their visit to Jerusalem.  So, we decided to give them some time to catch back up on their rest and get their barrings from such a long flight.  Well that didn't stop them, they came on out to welcome us and spent the evening with us sharing all about their trip.  I seriously can not imagine walking where Jesus walked.
Away we gooooo....
(Our first group selfie!)
From then on it was NON-STOP!  John & Kathy are truly the best Tour Guides, Thrift Shop Gurus, Food Connoisseurs, Story Tellers, Drivers, Ice Cream Finders, Art Gallery Directors, Coast Explorers, Picture Takers, shewww, have I forgotten anything?  Let's just say They ARE THE BEST!!!!!

We truly had almost two, wonderful weeks, just enjoying each other.  We quickly found out that John knew every great place to eat, didn't matter what you were in the mood for, he knew who had the best in town!  Very quickly the joke became, ARE YOU HUNGRY YET? And I will plead the 5th on who John would actually ask that question to. :)
This would be the "Train Wreck"
AAAAMAAAAZING!!!
I think my favorite part was getting to see Springfield through John and Kathy's eyes.  They truly love it there and it shows.  Springfield is a city with a hometown feel.  Everyone is so nice, actually feels like an old southern town, everyone smiles, waves and even holds the doors open for you.

Hope you enjoy our pictures, and yes we DID do more than just eat! I am so grateful to God and just love the blessing He gave us by giving us this time with John and Kathy.  Thank You John and Kathy for all you did for us and for sharing your beautiful town with us!!! GO DUCKS!!! I'm looking forward to being together again some day and of course going back to Addi's!!! (psssst...Hey John, YES I'm hungry again!!!)
