Praise the Lord that does abundantly more than we ever thought. We had a deal that was secure, we were told we could celebrate....Then 12 hour later....We found out that the deal fell through. We were so disappointed for about 5 minutes because in the same conversation with George (our car/rv guy), he said he found another one that looked even better. Oh "we" of little faith....we couldn't think that would be possible...how can it be better than the 2011 Coachmen Freelander - 30ft with a living room slide? George said he saw it online but wanted to get the go ahead from us to proceed. We said sure...and only 4 hours later we got the "IT'S YOURS!!!" from George. So now let me tell you...how can it be better?...it can be better because now God blessed us with a 2014 Thor Chateau 32ft with living room AND bedroom slide! WOW WOW WOW - GO GOD!!! To say the least we are over the moon with the deal of a lifetime...Got the new one for pretty much the same deal as the 2011 - WOOOHOOO!!!
When we found out all three of us were litteraly doing the HAPPY DANCE! Yes even Daddy! :) As we were having our little celebration, Momma got her Bible and looked up this passage and read it aloud with tears in her eyes... "Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us" Ephesians 3:20. At that point it brought it all back around, we joined hands with tears and worshiped our GOD for doing abundantly more than our wildest dreams.
I think we spent the next couple of days in shock that it was really happening....I had the picture of it as the background on my computer and enjoyed looking and dreaming for the next few days. Then we got the call...COME AND GET IT!!!
That was such a fun trip over....we took our first rv that He blessed us with and enjoyed stories that we "relived" as we drove over...and then WOW - there it was...We were seriously in awe of how awesome it was. We got in and were like little kids. The drive home was awesome...cutting up and enjoying the amazing gift God blessed us with.
Again and again...we have been praising God with our new home that is wayyyy more than we ever thought we would be able to have.
Ha - funny story too - So our last one I didn't name but just called her a her - she and so on.....This one is Thor Chateau so I decided this one would be a HE - THOR - GOING TO BATTLE FOR JESUS....I was havin a great time with it until I was informed THOR was a pagan god...but he did have red hair and was a warrior so it would have fit if he wasn't a little g god...hahaha - so I am still looking for a name for him...or maybe THOR got saved and now he does battle for Jesus :), yea I know, I'm reachin....lol - plus it is so hard to switch to a him....I still call him a her :)
So, we have our new home packed and ready for our first trip this coming weekend. Big apron show, last one before we hit the road, so please pray with me to share Jesus in all I do and say at the show. God will take care of the selling part :)
We are working on our schedule and should have the first 3 months confirmed shortly so we will post that once we are finished. Please pray with us on the churches and ministries and most of all, the people that we know that the Lord will lead us to.
We also covet your prayers through this whole journey from now until we return home. Yes it will be exciting and we will be seeing so much, but we also know that this will be one of the hardest things we have ever done. But we also know when Jesus said FOLLOW ME...we are to follow. I praise the Lord for this path we are following - PRAISE IN ALL THINGS...(and yes...remind us of that if or should I say when we hit the hard times...hehehe).
