Preparations are underway!

Well all of our preparations are underway for our trip.  Hmm it's funny, we are calling it a 2 year mission trip, but it is more like we are leaving for 2 years to live ON MISSION for God.  Aren't we always to be on mission for God....ABSOLUTELY!!!  So, we are hitting the road for 2 years so stay tuned to see where God leads us and to see who God brings our way.  But I must admit, it is hard to comprehend being gone for 2 years, but it is soooo very exciting too.  I didn't realize how many details are involved with going on the road.  From doctor appointments to selling off everything we have to resigning from positions to finding replacements.  Through this whole process I will say, God has been so faithful!  Everything is just falling into place.  The transition has been so smooth....WOOOOHOOOO!!! 


We had an amazingly successful yard sale.  I learned lots of things about yard sales...
1st - I don't ever want to do another one again!
2nd - If it wasn't for our trip I would never do another one again!
3rd - 3 days and 32 tables - 6 blankets - 2 racks are entirely too much!
4th - Next yard sale is March 7th and 8th!   LOL 
5th - this will be my last yard sale that I ever do! (prayerfully...lol)
6th - God shows up and does unimaginable things at yard sales!!!  Especially in the rain :)

The new larger motorhome you ask?  We are still waiting on George to find our new home.  He has gone to look at a few, but hasn't found the one God has for us yet.  :)  So please pray with us that he will be able to find the one for us sooooooon - ok ok ok - yes pray for my patience :)  and God's timing!  The anticipation is killing me :)


Seems like time is just creeping by....is it really still January?  COME ON MARCH!!!  or actually it is APRIL and it is really the end of APRIL beginning of MAY that we will officially be RV'n 4 Jesus!  It's like this....if we have our new home by March we will take it for a short (still in Florida) trip to test her out....So we will feel like we are starting in March - BUT we have one more conference, Missional Connection (AKA Sunshine) at Lake Yale, once that is over on Saturday, we will worship with our amazing HOME CHURCH FAMILY on Sunday and hit the road after morning worship.  So we will officially be on the road APRIL 27th!!!  WOOOHOOOO!!!!  Isn't it funny how we hurry up time to get to something and then try to  slow it down once it gets here...lol.


What I will say about this time in the middle of before we go - I am trying to enjoy time with special people more, do extra things a little more, cherish the small things a little more, just trying to enjoy being in the NOW!!!
